FACT - David Prowse, a weightlifter from Bristol, played the role of Darth Vadar on screen but was voiced by another guy called James Earl Jones. He was so convinced the film would be a flop though he refused to allow his name in the original credits.

A black, minimalistic designed shoe box was given to me last Thursday as I began my 8 hour shift. My confused, sleepy looking face was soon exchanged for that of pure delight.
BW GEN II had arrived. Slick packaging was carefully unfolded as my size 10s slipped perfectly and comfortably on to my feet. Technology aside, the BW looked the business. TPU swoosh, moulded sock liner and a sick looking toe-box were the first characteristics that gathered my excited eyes. Sitting perfectly on my indigo denim, there was little I could complain about.
Being the fussy sneaker head that I am, my only slight cause for concern was how well the paint on the midsole would hold up. Previous experiences with the Big Window have been slightly upsetting (cracking on both my Persians and the Violet Blue colourways). Only time will tell with that. That aside the black on white colourway of the BW could easily become my shoe of the year.
