The day started too early! Well done to those guys who started queueing around 3am.

Buchanan Street - 7th best shopping street in the world? Couldn’t see a single person.

That’s because everyone was heading over to size? Glasgow, the number one shopping destination on Union Street! This was around 6.40am when the queue was starting to develop nicely.

Jamie and Chris looked well up for it!

That was due to us only getting the shoes in on launch day at 7am. The queue looked on as we got all the stock off the lorry and into the shop.

A quick look at the shoe in the flesh for the first time, really impressed.

We checked the delivery to make sure everything was ok for the guys & girls waiting outside.

The wait was over, everything was ready and it was about time to let the first few in. It was a nice feeling to finally have the shoes in front of us after such a long time in the planning (even with final minute box hiccup!).

This was the queue just before we opened at 8.10am.

We needed someone big and strong to man to door for us in downtown Glasgow. Anything can happen at anytime on Union Street so we needed a guy who was up for the job. Unfortunately everyone else was busy so we had no choice but to let Paul do the honours!

These are a few snaps we took after we opened. Some guys were more interested in getting back to their bed though.

The police even wanted in on the action (or were they just looking for those two dodgy’s above?!).

That was it, went like a flash and in just under an hour we were down to our last pair, bought by this lucky chap below.

All done and away to loving homes. Thanks to everyone who came down so early and travelled from so far - from speaking to a few guys after everyone seemed to have a pleasant enough time in the queue and even got chatting to guys they’d never met before but who shared a common passion/obsession. And for those who were in it just to sell them on eBay, Shame on you!
