Crepe City 7 Recap

What seems to have established itself as one of the UKs biggest footwear festival to date, Crepe City entered its 7th meeting this weekend and if you weren’t able to get down, we can tell you that you definitely missed out on a couple of treats.

Due to the popularity of both events held last year, our friends Ron and Mo, along with the Crepe City team, decided that a bigger venue was in order, and Village Underground in the heart of Shoreditch appeared to tick all the boxes.

With queues of 2 to 3 hours long from the minute the doors opened up until 7 in the evening, there was no holding off the amount of people wanting to get their fingers on an entire host of goods. The offering, like the venue, was bigger than ever, with deadstock silhouettes that we’re sure everyone forgot even existed to the bargains that we didn’t get the chance to grab first time round.

The day turned out as expected, filled with of fun, fresh faces and an unlimited supply of treasures, not forgetting the presence of our friend Pins and his ever-popular custom Air Max 90s, that could keep you drooling for days on end. No doubt that the incredible atmosphere created on Sunday will only fuel the crowds for this summer, and we can’t wait for Crepe City 8!
