Find a path. Performance, technology and style are essential. Expectation grows with each season. The goals of the runner are rising. Technology can no longer simply ‘perform’. Inspired by the insular, pack mentality of inner city running clubs, New Balance is proud to unveil the second edition of their premium tier running series: The New Balance Blue Tab Collection. Blacked out uppers, fused seams and 3M detailing emphasise the collection’s night time significance. Finished with the unmistakable Blue Tab signature, each design epitomises the New Balance commitment to function, style, comfort and most importantly performance. Consisting once again of the innovative and high spec M890v3, the MR1400 and the MRC1600, all three models have been solely designed with runners in mind. The shape and form of the upper wraps around the foot for secured support, working in harmony with the REVlite sole unit; a foot bed that is 30% lighter than traditional running shoe foams, but delivers optimum responsiveness. The third generation of the 890 series model was one of the first to debut the REVlite sole unit and had been created to meet the demands of world-class runners. As well as the revolutionary sole, it also features the ABZORB crash pad for light, comfortable run. A race day road flat, the 1400 has been designed to achieve an ultra-light racer which reduces weight and increases speed. One of the key shoes that has blurred the lines of performance and lifestyle, the essence of the Blue Tab Collection. One of the lightest marathon models on the market. Coming equipped with a REVlite RC midsole, the 1600 features higher density foam for superior responsiveness. Combined with the high traction, feather light Dynaride outsole, this shoe is an outstanding ride. The New Balance Blue Tab Collection will be available from Friday 7th February online at 8:00am GMT via direct links on our Facebook and Twitter accounts. These will also be available in our Manchester, Carnaby Street, Brighton, Bristol, Birmingham, Covent Garden, Liverpool, Glasgow & Paris stores on launch day from their respective opening hours.
