Continuing the successful ‘Outside In’ collection from last year, Garbstore x Reebok come together yet again and this time takes cues from early 1970′s TV test card transmission signals. The basic principles of colour overlay and shape definitions have been applied to a series of Reebok’s iconic silhouettes, updating the Classic Leather, Inferno, Sole-Trainer and Instapump Fury.

For the official launch, both parties took to a vintage furniture store based in Hong Kong which specialising in radios and TV sets from the early ’70s. Also present were our friends from Hypebeast who got the chance to speak to designer Ian Paley about the introduction of Japanese audio-visual technology to the British market, unique details of each shoe, as well as the process of reworking Reebok’s existing styles, which you can see in the short video above.

The Garbstore x Reebok ‘Experimental Colour Transmission’ Collection is now available online and in selected size? stores, consisting of the Classic Leather 6000, Inferno, Sole-Trainer and InstaPump Fury.
