At the start of 2013, we got the chance to resurrect one of the brands most understated running silhouettes from the sports mid-1980s heyday. The adidas Originals Centaur was a road running specific model that gained attention due to its lightweight and no thrills design, and has continued as a favourite throughout the terrace casuals community over the decades.

Hot on the heels of our recent adidas Originals ‘Tournament Edition’ and ‘Kahakai’ Pack exclusives; this duo showcases the minimal and somewhat striped back upper with a mix of breathable mesh and tonal leather suede panelling.

The colour palette of grey, black and tropic bloom, allows the pack to become both subtle and energetic, while the latter colour draws inspiration from the British Physicist Lord Rayleigh and the scientific term ‘Rayleigh Scattering’ which explains the process of colour change in the sky, from blue hue during the daytime, to the noticeable pink at sunset.
