https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dY15_eB_11Q This past summer, SUPRA took a month-long trip throughout the United Kingdom to post up with the locals, skate street, and do some demos while also taking in the sights and culture. Dubbed their UK Residency, we travelled up and down the UK with stops in Bristol, Manchester, Leeds, and London with many pit stops along the way. While taking up residency, the SUPRA team was scheduled to stop in London for 9 days. With a demo scheduled at Hackney Wick’s famous Frontside Gardens DIY initiative, they had the opportunity to give a little something back to London’s local skateboarding community thanks to the founder of Frontside Gardens, Andy Willis, and their very own Chad Muska. Continuing their commitment to the regeneration of skate parks both in the UK and around the world, SUPRA and Chad Muska worked with the Frontside Gardens founder Andrew Willis to create a bespoke obstacle that would become a permanent fixture of the Frontside project, supporting the continued longevity of the park and its legacy within the local community. Chad lent his technical skate knowledge and design skills to assist Andy’s build of a centre-piece that complimented the banks and ramps at either end of the park. In addition to the obstacle, Chad demonstrated his artistic talents, adding to the park’s ‘Wall of Fame’ with a temporary design, both revealed at the SUPRA UK Residency closing demo in July.
