To celebrate the upcoming launch of our Nike Air Zoom Spiridon Cage 2 ‘Carnaby’, we’ve reached out to the area’s wider community to muse over their Carnaby Street memories.

We’ve already spoken to Supreme-enthusiast Lance Walsh and size? Carnaby Street’s Dannah Mendoza, and Duke’s Cupboard’s Milo Harley, and last up we’re back at size? Carnaby Street to chat to Brenda Guimaraes.

What is your relationship with Carnaby Street?

“I work at size? – I’ve worked for the company for about four years, but I’ve been here at the Carnaby store for a year now.”

What do you love about Carnaby Street?

“I love how vibrant it is; how easy-going it is. There’s everything: there’s shops, there’s food – whatever you need. Carnaby’s a good day out.”

Do you have a favourite memory of size?

“Yeah – it would have to be all the crazy singing moments at work. We all love to sing… but none of us can actually sing.”

Do you have a favourite memory of Carnaby Street?

“Probably Christmas time with my family – just walking around, shopping, eating.”

How would you best describe your personal style?

“My personal style is very easy-going, very comfortable – pretty baggy. I like baggy jeans, baggy t-shirts, some trainers – that’s it. Most likely Jordans!”

How would you style the Spiridon Cage 2 Carnaby?

“I’d like to style them with some jeans – or maybe some colourful shorts.”

How do you like to accessorise?

“I keep it pretty simple with accessories – a little watch, a bracelet, a necklace, some earrings; I’m good to go. Probably some rings as well.”

If you could time travel and visit any era of Carnaby Street, which would it be?

“You know – I quite like the here and now. You just see so many different people and personalities. Carnaby’s so vibrant and colourful – I just love it.”
